Nebulous Realms is a multidisciplinary exhibition bringing together sculptor Lea Rose Kara and visual creative Studio Cosmogram in the gallery space of Hackney Downs Studios, hosted by slow fashion brand Blue Nude. Through the Tarantula Collection and Nebulous Realms, all three creative minds focus on a primary feeling in response to the images: gratitude. Gratitude for the privilege of being alive, witnessing humanity’s quest for answers, and marvelling at the spectacle of the universe. In all the expanses science has uncovered, we are fortunate to call our beautiful green Earth home.
Studio Cosmogram's works in the exhibition further explore cosmically-informed screen printing and typographic art. Metallic bases underpin abstract screenprints, while digital designs create fantastical illusions of depth and disproportion, evoking the mind-bending distances and dimensions of space.
Nebulous Realms not only illustrates the cosmic themes of the collection and artworks but also reflects the three disciplines of Blue Nude, Lea Rose Kara, and Studio Cosmogram, and the serendipitous circumstances that brought these creatives together.
